The AIAOLA Sexual Health Clinic (ASH Clinic) was founded in June 2020 as part of Kumukahi Health + Wellness. As the only sexual health and HIV specialty clinic on the Big Island of Hawai'i, our medical services are focused on HIV care, Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), gender-affirming care, STI testing and treatment, Hepatitis C evaluation and treatment, and LGBTQ+ health. ​

Our Clinic Team

The ASH Clinic is led by our Clinic Director, BJ Crivello, RN, our Medical Provider, Naomi Whitaker, APRN-NP-C with support from our medical consultant Dr. Mark Knox. The staff includes our Clinic Case Manager, Shaylyn Arakaki, MSW, our Patient Services Representative, Chanel Beaver, and Kona medical receptionist, Bubbles Cravalho.
