Position Goal:
Performs a range of accounting and financial duties to support the financial functions of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities

Perform A/P functions such as bill entry, account reconciliation, invoice creation and payment processing.

Organize all receipts, invoices, and bills into electronic folders

Reconciliation of credit card statements and transactions.

Ability to do Journal Entries

Prepare any weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly vendor statements.

Carry out and complete all other related duties as assigned by the Finance Director and/or the Executive Director.

Abides by all policies set forth in the employee manual including timely submission of timesheets, forms, etc.

Carry out and complete other duties as assigned.

Prepares required reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Abilities and Experience
-
Proficient using QuickBooks online
-
Proficient using Microsoft Excel
-
Computer literacy with internet
-
Experience with small/medium sized businesses
-
Thorough knowledge of GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles)
-
2+ years of professional bookkeeping and office administrative experience and/or Accounting Certificate/Degree
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Calm and pleasant people skills
-
Excellent organizational skills, time management and communication skills
-
Tact and discretion when dealing with confidential information
-
Attention to detail
-
Ability to work with other people in a collaborative manner.
-
Ability to use office equipment, and computers proficiently.

Responsibility for maintaining client confidentiality and HIPPA compliance.

Have transportation, i.e., automobile, etc. which is fully insured and has current registration, safety check, and current driver’s license.
